Common questions.

If your question isn't here, email us — we read every message.

Getting started
How do I add my first watch?

Tap the + button in the center of the tab bar, then either pick from the suggested references or fill in the brand and model manually. You can save with just a brand and model — every other field can be filled in later.

What if my exact reference isn't in the database?

Just type the brand and model manually. You can add a reference number, photos, and any other details yourself. The built-in database is a shortcut, not a requirement.

If we're missing a reference you think should be there, email us — we add new ones every week.

Does Dialed work without an internet connection?

You can browse your collection and log wears offline. Adding new watches, syncing photos, and pulling live market values requires a connection. Anything you do offline syncs the next time you're online.

Wrist Roll & Planner
How does Dialed pick today's watch?

Wrist Roll looks at how recently each watch was worn, how often it's been worn overall, and what you wore yesterday. It prefers pieces that haven't been on your wrist in a while and avoids repeating brands two days in a row.

Tap Shuffle for a different suggestion, or open the planner to set a specific watch for today.

How do I plan my week?

Open the Roll tab and scroll to Plan the Week. Tap any day to assign a watch. The auto-fill button (↻) builds a balanced 7-day rotation in one tap — you can edit any individual day after.

Planning your full week is a Premium feature.

Why don't all my watches show up in Wrist Roll?

If you're on the free tier, Wrist Roll only suggests from your Active 5 — the watches you've marked for active wear tracking. Pieces you've sold or marked inactive are excluded.

Premium removes the Active 5 cap and includes your entire collection.

Premium & Founding 500
What's included in Premium?

Unlimited watches in active wear tracking, the Wrist Roll 7-day planner, live market comps, the insurance-ready PDF export, yearly recap, advanced stats, and priority support.

What is Founding 500?

The first 500 members to upgrade get lifetime Premium for a one-time price and a numbered badge inside the app. Once 500 members claim their spot, that's it — the offer is gone permanently.

You'll see your member number in your profile.

How do I cancel or restore a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel: open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Dialed → Cancel.

To restore on a new device: open Dialed → Settings → Restore Purchases.

I bought Premium but it's not showing up.

Try Settings → Restore Purchases first. If that doesn't fix it, email us with the Apple ID email you used and we'll sort it out within a day.

Data, privacy & backups
Where is my data stored?

On encrypted cloud servers (Supabase). Photos, wear logs, values, and notes are tied to your account and only visible to you. We never sell or share your data — full details in the Privacy Policy.

How do I export my collection for insurance?

Premium → Insurance Export. Generates a single PDF with every watch, photos, references, paperwork status, and current values. Send it to your insurer or your estate attorney — done.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your collection, photos, and personal info are permanently removed within 30 days. This action cannot be undone — export your collection first if you want a copy.

Bugs & feedback
I found a bug. What do I do?

Email hello@dialedwatch.app with what happened and a screenshot if you have one. Mention your iPhone model and iOS version if you can — it helps us reproduce the issue faster.

Can I request a feature?

Yes, please. Dialed is built for collectors and the best ideas come from collectors. Email us — we read every message and ship requests we hear repeatedly.

Still stuck? Email hello@dialedwatch.app and a real human will get back to you. No bots, no ticket queues, no "your case is important to us." Just a reply.
