This Privacy Policy describes how Dialed ("Dialed", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our iOS application and related services (the "Service"). Dialed is built for collectors who want a permanent home for the watches they love — not a feed, not a marketplace, not a data broker.
The short version. We collect only what's needed to run the app. We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. Your collection is yours.
1. What we collect
- Account info — name, email, and (optionally) profile photo you choose to add.
- Your Watch Passport data — for every watch you record: brand, reference, photos, paperwork status, value, wear logs, service records, planned rotations, and any notes or stories you add.
- Device & usage data — iOS version, device model, anonymized analytics (which screens are opened, which features are used), and crash reports. Used to fix bugs and decide what to build next.
- Subscription data — handled by Apple's StoreKit and RevenueCat. We never see, store, or have access to your payment details or Apple ID.
2. How we use it
- To run the Service — store your collection, sync across devices, deliver Wrist Roll suggestions, generate insurance exports, and send service reminders.
- To improve the app — anonymized usage data helps us understand which features matter and where the experience breaks.
- To communicate — occasional emails about your account, security, or product updates. You can opt out of marketing emails any time.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
- We do not share your collection with third parties for marketing.
- We do not display ads inside Dialed.
- We do not access your Apple ID, payment methods, or device contacts.
- We do not run a public social feed where your collection is visible to other users.
4. Third-party services
Dialed uses the following services to run the Service. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Apple App Store / TestFlight — distribution and in-app purchases
- Public market data sources — fetching comparable sales for valuation. No personal data is sent to these services.
5. Your rights
You can:
- Export your full collection as a PDF any time (Premium → Insurance Export)
- Delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Request a copy of your data by emailing hello@dialedwatch.app
- Object to specific processing — email us any time
6. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your collection, photos, and personal info within 30 days. Anonymized analytics may be retained longer but cannot be tied back to you.
7. Children
Dialed is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be notified in-app and by email before they take effect.
