Terms of Service

Welcome to Dialed. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dialed iOS application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Dialed is a watch collection management app that allows you to document, value, and track watches you own or wish to own. We provide the software; you provide the data about your collection.

2. Your account

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Premium

• Free tier: The Service offers a free tier with unlimited Vault storage and core features.
• Premium: Premium features (Live Market Comps, Insurance Export, Service Reminders, etc.) require a paid subscription.
• Free trial: A 7-day free trial may be offered for new Premium subscribers. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
• Lifetime ("Founding 500"): Lifetime memberships are one-time purchases. Refunds are governed by Apple's App Store refund policy.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you put into Dialed (photos, notes, watch records, provenance documentation, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service to you. We don't claim any rights to your collection.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, contains malware, or is otherwise harmful
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

6. Market data accuracy

Dialed displays market comp data sourced from public APIs (such as eBay sold listings) and your own input. This data is informational only and should not be relied on as the sole basis for purchase, sale, insurance, or financial decisions. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

7. Insurance documentation

The Insurance-Ready PDF Export is a tool for documenting your collection. It does not constitute insurance, an appraisal, or a guarantee of coverage. You are responsible for working with your insurer to verify any documentation meets their requirements.

8. Service availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including with reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid users.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIALED'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated in-app and by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [your jurisdiction].
